OUR STORY

GENESIS
In 1993, young entrepreneurs Rob Coatsworth and Kevin Murray found themselves at a crossroads. They had spent years working for firms that represented both tenants and landlords, and recognized a potential conflict of interest while trying to best represent the client. They envisioned creating a firm with a singular focus on tenants — to offer a better commercial real estate experience — and CTR was born.
CTR stood for Corporate Tenant Representation, and that remains the focus of the firm today. Over the past two decades, the processes have changed and improved as the firm has grown; but at the heart of the organization is a calling to serve others in a way that honors "the ultimate landLORD" — our Creator God. This method of serving others also builds stronger relationships and connections that benefit everyone over time.

GROWTH
As God provided, the business grew and in 2004 Rob and Kevin met Jeff Richardson, a determined soul wise beyond his years, whose values and goals complemented their own. They enthusiastically brought Jeff onto the team, and never looked back as he became an integral part of CTR.

GEARS
Another important God‐send was Annette Adams. As a trained engineer with a sharp wit, Annette was immediately a strong addition to the team. She supports clients and keeps the team grounded.

GOD CALLING
After many years of serving clients, Kevin recognized that many were asking him to share his thoughts on faith. Eventually he felt a call to become more intentional about serving others and launched his ministry, Encourage to Faith. The team at CTR is thankful that we can be involved in this mission with Kevin, and everyone is excited to see how he is being used by God to point others honestly and gently to truth.
