Our Story

After multiple years in the business, Rob Coatsworth and Kevin Murray launched CTR in 1993 in an effort to ensure office and industrial users of commercial real estate had undivided representation focused on their needs and championing their best interests.

Representing only the tenant or buyer proved to be a needed service in the marketplace that created a more level playing field between tenants and landlords and between buyers and sellers in commercial real estate transactions. CTR served companies throughout our home city of Atlanta but also across the country as our clients grew and looked for more opportunities.

CTR strengthened the team with the addition of Jeff Richardson in 2004. His strong work ethic and ability to build bridges between CTR, our clients, and our community helped to round out what had been developing since the firm’s inception. The company continued to grow and expand its reach and was intentional not to dilute its focused approach.

In 2026, as part of a strategic growth initiative, Ronnie Cannon joined CTR as a Partner, bringing more than 25 years of experience supporting tenants and buyers. Ronnie’s relationship driven approach, deep expertise in corporate services, and commitment to serving technology companies have already become a valuable asset to CTR—further expanding the firm’s capabilities and strengthening its market presence.
